"Manana" Part of European Youth Press14 Feb 2006"Manana" Youth Educational-Cultural center have become member to European Youth Press. The European Youth Press is an umbrella association of young journalists in Europe. It involves more than 48000 young journalists from 14 European countries less than 30 years of age. The objectives of the European Youth Press are the strong cooperation among national youth media structures in Europe and their support as well as to strengthen the role of youth media and the freedom of press in Europe. the European Youth Press takes part in discussions about journalist education standards and media policy in the European Union. The European Youth Press is a young association, not because it was founded only in 2004, but because the actives are young themselves. Journalists who are organised in the European Youth Press through their national and regional associations are under 30 years of age and are working for school magazines, internet projects, radio and video productions, student magazines or they are interns in editor-rooms, freelancers, journalism students or trainees. http://www.youthpress.org ![]() |
