Up-and-Coming International Film Festival

26 Nov 2005

"Manana" films shortlisted for the second time at Up-and-Coming International Film Festival, to take place December 1-4, 2005, in Hannover.

It is already the second time that "Manana" films have been included in the short list of up-and-coming International Film Festival. The festival started in 1982 as a private initiative and since then has become an important artistic competition for newcomers and maintains a network spanning 56 countries. It takes place every two years (odd years) in Hannover, targeting young people up to the age of 27. Many former participants are highly successful in the film and television industry and new talents discovered by up-and-coming include, for example, four German OSCAR winners. This year 199 films from 32 countries were submitted to the festival.
