Council of Europe grant to17 Sep 2005"Manana" Youth Educational-Cultural Center received a grant from the Council of Europe to launch the project "Intercultural cooperation between youth belonging to majority and minority groups in Armenia" within the framework of "Confidence Building Measures" program in the period between September 1, 2005 - March 30, 2006. The project focused on three minority groups living on the territory of Armenia: The Assyrians, Yezidis and Molokans. The activities of the project aimed at collecting youth working teams both from minority and majority groups. Seminars, trainings and meeting were organized for the participants with specialists working in the spheres of minorities, journalism, filmmaking and photography. The working youth teams had the opportunity to visit their peer minority representatives and create a joint output. As a result of a year-long activities "Manana" shoot documentary film series dedicated to minority groups of Armenia, published the special issue of "Children's Planet" Almanac which is a selection of the best essays and photo reports produced by youth working teams.
