Carrousel International du film de Rimouski has organized special screening of "Manana" Youth Educational-Cultural center short films.

The 24th edition of the festival, which took place from September 24 to October 1st, was full of different kinds of film events: a conference, 3 exhibitions, 91 films from 26 countries, 55 premieres, and 77 screenings. The festival has a long history.

In September 1983, a group of people from Rimouski organised a weekend of films for young people and a meeting with two professionals. They agreed to run film-related workshop. The festival was born: a one-day workshop for youth and two days of film screenings. Since then, the CIFR has not stopped growing, always adding to its repertoire and creating relationships with new partners, changing and developing new rhythms for the needs of its audiences.
