"Manana" member to International Center of Films for Children and Young People02 Jun 2005In 2005 "Manana" Youth Educational-Cultural Centre became member to CIFEJ (International Center of Films for Children and Young People) and participated in the General Assembly of the organization held in Tehran, Iran from 26 May to 01 of June. CIFEJ is an international non-governmental organization of professionals dedicated to promoting excellence in the audio-visual media for young audiences. CIFEJ was founded in 1955 under the auspices of UNESCO and UNICEF to promote excellence in the audio-visual media for children and young people. Today, CIFEJ retains operational relations with UNESCO and consultative status with UNICEF. With 150 members in over 55 countries, CIFEJ is a network of producers, distributors, broadcasters, festivals, scriptwriters and filmmakers, media researchers, and specialized groups that work directly with the media and children. http://www.cifej.com |
