Documenting the Lives of the Children of Nor Hadjin06 Jul 2009The project, "Documenting the Lives of the Children of Nor Hadjin", is supported by The Bay Area Friends of Armenia (BAFA), has concluded. Twenty children from Nor Hadjin BAFA's Soup Kitchen and twenty children from Manana Youth Educational-Cultural Center collaborated on the project. More than 100 essays and interviews and 2100 photos were created, in which children expressed their impressions, shared their challenges, and described their dreams. Due to the success of the project, BAFA approved a grant to Manana Youth Center to support the after school education of ten youngsters from the Nor Hadjin soup kitchen, who excelled during the project.  |
