Allen Hughes' visit to Manana15 Jul 2010
Today Manana center was visited by Allen Hughes - one of the twin Hughes brothers - famous directors, who have made such popular movies as The Book of Eli, From Hell and have worked with such famous actors as Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, etc. He led a workshop with Manana center's students and answered their various questions about filmmaking in general and about his own experience in Hollywood and his future creative plans. He also spoke about being half Armenian, as his mother is Armenian from Iran. He also watched the short films made by Manana's students and gave his professional advice to them for future filmmaking activities. The meeting went on very well, and we hope that we will keep in touch with him later.
